Go to the AVIC-N4 since I could install a 1-DIN radio. I wanted a navigation system with MP3 player, DVD and USB functionality.

Good: The unit is pretty and elegant. Most of the functions / options for appearance. Ex: color of LEDs, the backround color choices, etc.

Bad: The unit can perform all the functions it claims to do, but only when you buy any additional add-ons. Eg for USB, you need to buy the USB adapter. For voice commands, the same thing. He assumed I was going East, whenI was really West. The instructions told me once when I left cold and right.

OH! And the compass for the navigation unit is incorrect. Require that the DVD is the drive is a huge design flaw. This is a great inconvinience to remember that and manage. In addition, the USB add-on tracks skipped, stopped halfway through them, would not be able to recognize some of the MP3 file (the same one that was playing an hour ago.) I was forced tore-connect the USB device.
