Slow Processor – John P. Dancy – Clifton Heights, PA
Brief review.
I bought this to replace my Mio DigiWalker. My only because I wanted to be with my first GPS was one million. My only complaint is that it works and moves very slowly. It 'so hard when tying the address and POI. I read that was slow, but I thought I could work around this. When I go to print a letter that I type in the name of a street, what are the Moov about 3-5 seconds to respond. It may not seem like much, but it is a nuisance when yourJust try typing a name and not revert to the other letters because its still trying to put the first letter.
But this can not be a problem for others, it was just a huge problem for me. I just bought this model because it was cheap. I even use it because its good for me to get from point A to point B.
some of the directions are ridiculous – Robert – San Francisco
Advantages: decent screen, the fast satellite pickup, instructions are ok for short distances.
Cons: poor management are Lelli! Here's an example that makes it totally unreliable (there are others). Preferences have been released for road type faster tempo and preference for motorways more often (which is the highest preference for freeways). Guidelines have been applied to an address in San Francisco to an address in Truckee, CA. The result: a journey of 326 miles, 7:46 hours! Myroad has begun through the Bay Bridge on I-80 East, which is good. But then came close to highways 880, 238, 205, Hwys 4, 89, 88, 395, 431, North-South Highway (anything like this could mean that the North Shore Road) And I finally, 80W.
Any sane person would continue on I-80E after hitting the Bay Bridge. Using the same address, Google Maps and online that the road is 187 miles, 03:08 hours.
Unfortunately, I have tried over the longer journey until I had the unitfor 30 days. Looking back to what is absurd, I will try to return the device.
you get what you pay for – K. Abbott –
Buy the Garmin. This GPS works, but it is not easy or intuitive to use. At least not the first time you used a Garmin … spend money and get the Garmin. I made my million.
