A great watch, while it lasts – Mark S. – Ann Arbor, MI USA
I have this watch, there are about 9 months and was quite happy until no longer works. He went with the first battery in about 5 months and after the change has never seemed the same. I came across a race this fall, and while I did not hit the pavement, back in shock. It hops, 4 of a mile and half marathon, my watch says 00:00. Has since been restored several times the minimum bump or jostle and now the battery is dead again. Now, I do not watch and I'm not sure I wantGarmin to give more of my money.
Works but needs attention to detail – Spidey – Sumter, SC
've Been with 50 for 4 months or so. The installation and operation of the units are not very intuitive. However, once settled, is acceptable. Just be careful not to accidentally press 2 buttons simultaneously. It 'easy to do when you try to push a button on the side with the index finger during the application of pressure against the thumb.
Push 2 and the clock will be reset. If you lose something in memory. Not very good, if you have not downloaded workoutsmemory or are in the midst of a long period.
Good for HR monitoring, kind of annoying as a watch – Ken Zemach – Redwood City, CA
Use this windy and HR Wrist pedometer for about 6 months, running a LOT.
Strengths
* I have never used a HR monitor before. Fantastic training method. HR monitor can not compare with others (eg polar), but compared to not use a monitor of human resources for training, gets five stars.
* Small, lightweight, waterproof.
* You have the entire set (shown, HR monitor and foot pod) for $ 120.
Weaknesses:
* After using other clocks regulate manyCasio Timex Ironman, as the basis of waiting, or even watch a workout, it's shit. First, the light button light does not stay long enough. Some of us actually enjoy the night, you know? Watch Ironman: much better.
* In fact non-standard start / stop / save button functionality. This face button itself is just boring. The buttons in general, I am not very good. And if I have the time, many events of short duration (other sprint time) is atotal pain and slow to be able to start, stop, clear, and restart. I realize that this is not necessarily what is done, but it's annoying.
* The battery life is marginal. The battery in my pedometer is dead outside the box new. E 'was boring. If the system was 6 months, and changed the battery twice and the pedometer Watch, once (total of four batteries of six months, if you count the pedometer DOA). Glad I'm comfortable doing myself that I pay someone to do this would be boring.That said, I can do better than a replaceable battery shows how sometimes simply are not close to power. Better would be if I felt comfortable enough to try the SPP-2032 (rechargeable versions are there), but I'm worried that the higher voltage will kill her.
Overall, if you've never used a system of monitoring of human resources, I think it's just dandy. But the quality I want the show were also functional than the Ironman series, the light stayed longer, buttonswere better, and certainly wish that it took a tear sport watch band.
works great, lots of set up and battery stinks – Jack Michaels –
My wife loves it! used both for its short battery that is released in 6 months! We went to a watch shop to change it. He had no power if unregulated, would have lost power again … uggg. My wife liked it so much, we just had a new one. I hope the battery lasts longer, otherwise, seems to be another, for his birthday (gift easy). The implementation is a bit 'of pain, but if you call Garmin can help and it was only a matter of time. Other than the establishment andThe battery is great. Tracks speed, distance thru-out the Run (ie when it slows down, it shows on the computer using graphics and text, when and for how long the period during which slows down how fast and in progress). Pretty cool. Make sure you get the foot pod too.
