With the product description, it seems almost too good to be true … Well, it was too good to be true.

First, the GPS is using 1c 2008 NAVTEQ maps. It is almost two years. I tried to contact the Clarion assistance and said it was the last they have. The GPS itself has gained very quickly for me, and seemed to move very quickly. So if you intend to use this product only for GPS, and do not worry Q1 2008maps, I would say is right. The speaker is really quiet. Do not expect a breakthrough aloud turn. If you wanted to use the GPS only, I think that money is better spent elsewhere – This unit is great, and the wedge is often sufficient. Compared to other GPS devices, this GPS is great.

Regarding the my.clarion.com, rose again on my own fairly easily – the website looks good, but in reality there is not much there. Integration with traffic.com is clean, but in practice ita bit 'silly – not that many people with 3G USB dongle, if you must perform the upgrade shortly before leaving the house or office that is not most people a lot of good.

As for Internet connectivity Others, stutters youtube (tried about 5 videos, the same … and it's not my internet connection). The Mozilla browser was half decent. Be careful not groped the integration of MySpace. But then sent from Google seemed to work, but really is not fatdeal.

Overall, I would say that this is the right product not available at the moment … even if you wanted to use as a MID, do not waste your money.

I was very disappointed for several reasons. I bought it mainly for the GPS, which has worked well, but I was really disappointed that he is not hands-free Bluetooth calling. This was one of the features I was told (from a technology Amazon) that you had before with my purchase. The unit has a "Contact" parameter to store personal contacts, including phone numbers. What is the value of this parameter, if you can not call through the GPS via Bluetooth? AsInternet, I'm not much of Wi-Fi in my area, and the functionality of Bluetooth was interesting. However, even if I have an Internet connection service on my phone from Verizon, I realized that to connect to the Internet through this device, which would be an additional cost 50/month for this service. What a joke! For this reason, I could not play with the additional functions of the unit online. The unit is on the way back to Amazon and I plan to purchase aGarmin GPS reliably with Bluetooth hands-free calling. I hope my two cents to help someone with their decision to purchase GPS.
