Link to great review of this watch – Michael Kim –
Just look, I wanted to find out more about this watch and do more research before my purchase. Then I came across this blog from DC Rainmaker and I was sold! This review was the most informative review I've found so far. I had the clock for nearly a month now and I love him and got exactly what I expected from the magazine. Great training device and, more importantly, I think the watch is the race that much more fun.

Excellent – Paul – Omaha, NE
all major products. Highly recommended. watches to buy the most expensive is not necessary. Forerunner 205 and 305 are excellent. I had two minor problems. 1) Search Engine occasional satellite is delayed and slow. When it happens – be solved by turning off the monitor and restart. 2) rubber strap is a bit 'uneasy .. may consider replacing it. Garmin Connect online service is a great tool too – anywhere access to download the following activities on the web. Thanks for 'Amazon Price …
Great watch but slow GPS synch and huge size – M. Hussaini – Los Angeles, CA
It 's a beautiful watch with good features. It will improve your operations. I have two major irritations: 1) must always be synchronized with satellites, 2) is ridiculously huge.

Very useful training aid – Runnin’ guy – Fort Worth, TX USA
I considered myself one of these for a while, but decided against it. Then I got one for Christmas a very kind friend and I'm glad. This is a great training aid for any serious rider. It worked for the workout I have not even used. It 'easy to use once you get the hang of it. One caveat: May to discover, like me, are much slower than we thought, but obviously 'useful information. I was worried thatwould feel bulky on my wrist, but I do not know is there. He holds a GPS signal quickly and although it may temporarily head when you run through a dense thicket, adapts quickly once I get back into the air. Highly recommended.
MORE FUN ON THE RUN – PATRICK E – SOUTH FLORIDA
I have owned a precursor of almost a year and loved in the first inning. I am very excited about the Forerunner, I gave both the management of my face adult children (21 y / o girl, 30 y / o son), one for Christmas this year, and love is because both are been used during the past year. It 'easy to use, and the face is the ideal size for the numbers that are easy to read. I love the freedom it offers, in that I can run and have an exact number of kilometers, whilebe able to follow my rhythm. It's great after a run to save my average pace, best pace and calories burned, as well as my overall time. Although I have not used the GPS to find the path traced way back on track starting out, it's good to know that if I ever need is available. Other features such as history, bus, etc., are also great to have. Finally, the cost of the precursor is very reasonable for a GPS, and not break the budget. I dare deffinitelypresents a "two shoes Running Up", and recommended for anyone running or walking.
Garmin 101 – Beth H. Dwyer – Golden, CO
Disappointed with the unit. He has great capacity and the price was right, but the rate function does not work reliably, and the battery life does not seem to be announced 14 hours. I need a battery-powered devices, so you can use the Garmin, while the ridges of the mountain from a backpack / where the hinterland, therefore, be able to replace mats and use it every day, and during the pack, follow altitude and distance, etc. I have 201 for the day's excursion, and electrically charged.Could be human error, but the battery life should not be …

A great watch, while it lasts – Mark S. – Ann Arbor, MI USA
I have this watch, there are about 9 months and was quite happy until no longer works. He went with the first battery in about 5 months and after the change has never seemed the same. I came across a race this fall, and while I did not hit the pavement, back in shock. It hops, 4 of a mile and half marathon, my watch says 00:00. Has since been restored several times the minimum bump or jostle and now the battery is dead again. Now, I do not watch and I'm not sure I wantGarmin to give more of my money.
Works but needs attention to detail – Spidey – Sumter, SC
've Been with 50 for 4 months or so. The installation and operation of the units are not very intuitive. However, once settled, is acceptable. Just be careful not to accidentally press 2 buttons simultaneously. It 'easy to do when you try to push a button on the side with the index finger during the application of pressure against the thumb.
Push 2 and the clock will be reset. If you lose something in memory. Not very good, if you have not downloaded workoutsmemory or are in the midst of a long period.
Good for HR monitoring, kind of annoying as a watch – Ken Zemach – Redwood City, CA
Use this windy and HR Wrist pedometer for about 6 months, running a LOT.
Strengths
* I have never used a HR monitor before. Fantastic training method. HR monitor can not compare with others (eg polar), but compared to not use a monitor of human resources for training, gets five stars.
* Small, lightweight, waterproof.
* You have the entire set (shown, HR monitor and foot pod) for $ 120.
Weaknesses:
* After using other clocks regulate manyCasio Timex Ironman, as the basis of waiting, or even watch a workout, it's shit. First, the light button light does not stay long enough. Some of us actually enjoy the night, you know? Watch Ironman: much better.
* In fact non-standard start / stop / save button functionality. This face button itself is just boring. The buttons in general, I am not very good. And if I have the time, many events of short duration (other sprint time) is atotal pain and slow to be able to start, stop, clear, and restart. I realize that this is not necessarily what is done, but it's annoying.
* The battery life is marginal. The battery in my pedometer is dead outside the box new. E 'was boring. If the system was 6 months, and changed the battery twice and the pedometer Watch, once (total of four batteries of six months, if you count the pedometer DOA). Glad I'm comfortable doing myself that I pay someone to do this would be boring. That said, I can do better than a replaceable battery shows how sometimes simply are not close to power. Better would be if I felt comfortable enough to try the SPP-2032 (rechargeable versions are there), but I'm worried that the higher voltage will kill her.
Overall, if you've never used a system of monitoring of human resources, I think it's just dandy. But the quality I want the show were also functional than the Ironman series, the light stayed longer, buttonswere better, and certainly wish that it took a tear sport watch band.
works great, lots of set up and battery stinks – Jack Michaels –
My wife loves it! used both for its short battery that is released in 6 months! We went to a watch shop to change it. He had no power if unregulated, would have lost power again … uggg. My wife liked it so much, we just had a new one. I hope the battery lasts longer, otherwise, seems to be another, for his birthday (gift easy). The implementation is a bit 'of pain, but if you call Garmin can help and it was only a matter of time. Other than the establishment andThe battery is great. Tracks speed, distance thru-out the Run (ie when it slows down, it shows on the computer using graphics and text, when and for how long the period during which slows down how fast and in progress). Pretty cool. Make sure you get the foot pod too.

The output of this device is an important result from a standpoint of design and technology. This is not just marketing-speak, the Forerunner 205 is the most accurate, most reliable wrist-mounted performance and GPS tracking tool we've ever tested. Yes, it's that good. While no device this compact can do everything (yet), the 205 pushes the limits of what is possible from something tied around the wrist. While the 205 does not offer heart rate monitoring, speed or wireless connectivity for Garmin and cadence sensor – for that you must climb to the Forerunner 305 – but it's a great way to get GPS location-based data and performance.
