This is the second of these cases I had. I lost the first, but it works so well, I knew I had to find another just like it. Nothing else would be!

Some have mentioned a problem with the zipper pulls break, but I have not had this problem after dozens of road / plane with him. The case is small and is a good measure, but would not say that it is a tight fit, which could be perceived as saying the case is too small … because it is not. If someone tries a case for their TomTom is to buy! No problem at all.

I can not use the holster I ordered for my Tom Tom XL 340 S I received the wrong size. What I received does not fit my XL 340 S. I call the seller, no response, I sent an e-mail, no response. I am very dispointed with the seller. The seller is giving a bad reputation Amazon.

TomTom Go 910 – Gerard On Amazon – New Rochelle
Before this device I have a Magellan Maestro 4000. I'm going to compare these two GPS units, but will concentrate mainly on the TomTom. Let me first discuss the Cons.
Cons: 1. The unit is a bit 'heavy and I had some problems with the docking on the windsheild where the weight of GPS and gravity pulls the unit down to a position that does not consider' s screen. There is a small allen screws believe that at some point I need to find a screwdriver to do thiswork. 2. Oh, this guy is great! The brilliance! During the day, depending on the position of the sun and as the sun enters the vehicle, there were times I could not see the map the drive at all! All I saw was white screen stared at Sun and that this could be dangerous because it could take the route of merger / off-road. I understand that and I stopped watching the GPS screen. If there is a product of the sun's reflection for this unit which I recommend to all buy to avoid the issue of glare. 3.There are a lot of "voice" to choose to say. Accents Male, female, British & Aussie to name a few … This can be upsetting because they always think that should change the voice to something else .. The other thing is that some items are "record of 'man and the effect of warning sound to be heard .. If you choose a recording of human voice, you hear the audio alert 4 … The distance markers are advertised in "yards" and / or "meters" I think sometimes .. but I'm not suremarks the distance may vary depending on the voice said. counters, use the voice of the United Kingdom, "the voice announces the distance in meters, even if the card is in the United States?" I could not determine the distance of "sites" I thought it would perhaps begin to use "inches" (jus kidding).
Strengths: 1. The bluetooth / phone function is incredible .. Say goodbye to driving while using your phone bills .. The research of GPS in your phone and automatically connects .. (with a certain configuration of devices is notdifficult). My phone connects automatically and use the remote to dial and I'm on the phone .. this device is impressive. 2. The device contains the music and you can play MP3 files or podcasts, ebooks, is impressive and the 20gig internal hard drive is much larger than we can imagine ..

This is my GPS, etc.. The mapping contains many errors and I sent the corrections to the society. But they want more money to get the software updated. The routing is poor, such as making a left turn, go up on a hill, then turn right down the hill, while the best route is to turn right on flat ground, then left to reach the same point better roads. There are several units at a lower cost.

I had this 910 for TomTom 3 years, and I paid $ 800 plus tax for it. When it worked, it worked very well. I liked the voices that you can choose, and the speakerphone quality was excellent. I never used the many additional features that has on it. Just find the address I was looking for, and leave me here, the shortest route. That's all I ask.
The problem is that it worked only about 75% of the time. And it would just stop working for no apparent reason. Would be operationallarge, so the next time I start my car was dead. I had not moved or cable, nothing. So I put on my glove, then a week later, I plug in and mysteriously started working again!
This pattern is repeated again and again. Finally, it is dead, and this time I think forever. The only frustrating thing is that I did not fall or anything.
I got Geek Squad at Best Buy and they told me to simply replace.
SoI begin with a nüvi this time. The prices have fallen.

I bought my DumbDumb 910 (aka TomTom) in August 2006 for too much money. This is the biggest, clunkiest, more expensive and still nothing, shit I've ever bought. Do not waste your money on a piece of scrap frustrating that literally driving in circles, stops, does not start, it takes forever to acquire a signal, and only stops down to nothing. I'll buy one that costs much less and be reliable! It would be good to break this thing.
