My daughter bought a Magellan GPSR. Characteristics of your equipment have been great! Since I have a Garmin V, I thought it could not skunked the old. This is fixed until we tried to find a map software for GPS. (The base paper is OK, if you like free travel interstate road detail for cities.) So what good is a free GPS map software? Usually USELESS! We bought MapSend Streets & Destinations USA. I thank the Lord that I spend only $ 39.00 on it. Good for the seller, bad for me. Ishould have recognized the signs when he was not a Streets & Destinations USA "version for sale on the home page of Magellan. (Hint, hint, hint)
I V4.00F version. The maps are so outdated that it can be used BASIS FOR NAVIGATION ST. THEN MANY ARE NO LONGER IN SOME CASES, accuracy is so bad CROSSROADS Street are hundreds of meters.
Do not waste your money on Magellan products unless they get their mapping software and stop tearing them setcustomers.
