I used this camera for a bit 'and discover that it is designed for a basic GPS user. The use of a compass on top of overlapping images (satellite or mouse) provides an easy to understand the location and path route. He has some advanced features of other units e.

It has some original dishes and pulsating tracks to reach the standard GPS features that many of us are accustomed to having at hand.

The keys are a workout for your fingers to manipulate. Menu andscreens use the same key in different ways depending on the area.

companion software is very simple and not very well thought out. Software not working, but we are alone to sort what you are doing.

The documentation is improving, but still leaves something 'good to know the facts and methods.

Some technical problems that I read the reviews of the top units seem to have been resolved with newer versions of software. Perhaps future versions of softwarecontinue to add features and improve the interface.

I would not say that this experience with a GPS unit. The new GPS users who prefer the visual approach of an electronic guide can be happy with the unit?

I have an eTrex Legend. I use for hunting, hiking and geocaching many. I was pleased to see a GPS you can download satellite images and photos on areial. I bought this as an update, and soon learned why not usually generated by the products first. The biggest problem with this device is that you can enter waypoints on the handheld. as customer service, you can do with the software supplied with the unit. I have not tried for a couple of reasons, I'Ll explain. I found it incomprehensible that would have a unit that I could plot a route or a previous series of points to enter the field with the only camera hanheld. How do I use a GPS to do as much as possible in advance, and I do not always have access to your computer when you use it. The other thing is the PC companion will not let me change the units on the UTM route planner. I want to UTM for my unit of choice, but I could not make any attempt to try to understand howentry and download waypoints is silent (not seemed so simple). This is not an easily understandable map of the base is beyond bare. Shows only two roads in my area with all the maps look completely empty around me, do not show the small towns and is essentially useless. It is not of the service in only a few points of interest, just none in my area. Legend Mey said that restaurants are the next exit, and gas and the maps or images that you want to download is a hotels.Anyc. cost $ 1.00. is not as intuitive as the legend or other GPS I've used. There are some bright spots on the team I like the larger screen and rubber armor, but for the money many times tested there with handheld GPS and accessories sheaper longer available for the moment do not waste your time and money.

This device works as well as the more expensive Garmin. The only problem I have is that this does not change automatically on the next hole. It took some time to learn how to download different courses, then transfer them to UPRO but once there, it works very well.
